Statement by U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance Regarding Zelensky’s Comments on Trump: Criticism and Advice on Interacting with the U.S. Administration

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance expressed dissatisfaction with comments made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which he criticized Donald Trump following his statements about Ukraine and potential «peace talks.» Vance shared his reaction in an interview with Daily Mail, voicing his opinion on the situation.

Vance emphasized that Zelensky’s idea of influencing the U.S. president’s opinion through public attacks in the media was a «terrible approach.» According to the Vice President, this method of interacting with the American administration is ineffective and hostile.

«The President of Ukraine received questionable advice on how to interact with the new U.S. administration,» Vance stated, highlighting that while the United States supports the Ukrainian people, they believe the war should end sooner.

He also added that Trump’s stance on geopolitical issues is strong and unwavering. «This is not Russian disinformation; this is the U.S. president’s policy, based on Donald Trump’s deep knowledge and experience,» Vance said.

At the same time, Volodymyr Zelensky responded to Trump’s remarks, which claimed his popularity among Ukrainians is only 4%. The Ukrainian president noted that this statement was the result of Russian propaganda. In response, Trump referred to Zelensky as a «dictator,» adding that the Ukrainian leader must act quickly if Ukraine wishes to preserve its independence.
